Cloudify
by tomatopotato
Cloudify lets players back up singleplayer worlds, instances and servers to a Google Drive account, and restore them later from the same account.
What it does
Cloudify uploads worlds, instances and server data into a dedicated folder in Google Drive, and can import them again to move data between machines or recover lost files. Login runs through Google OAuth, and the mod shows the connected account name inside the game, so data can be managed without leaving Minecraft. Server administrators can use it to protect a server against accidents.
The mod reads the email address tied to the login through the userinfo.email scope, and touches only the files and folders it creates via the drive.file scope. Traffic goes directly between the client and Google, with no third-party relay; the author points to the Privacy Policy for details. The mod is client-side only, so servers need no install, and it is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only. Files target 26.2 alone, on Fabric.

Use cases
Moving a world to a new computer
A player uploads a singleplayer world, then imports it on another machine signed in to the same account.
Protecting a server
A server administrator backs up a server folder to Google Drive as protection against unforeseen accidents.
Who it’s for: Singleplayer players who want off-machine copies of their worlds, and server administrators who want an extra backup path outside the host.
How it compares
MineDrive is also a Fabric mod for 26.1.2 – 26.2 and client-side only, but it is released under All rights reserved and is not open source. World Backup is a Fabric mod for 26.1 – 26.2, client-side only, released under the MIT License, so its code is open source. Better Backups is open source under the Apache License 2.0 but runs server-side only, so players join without installing anything, while Cloudify is installed on the client alone.
