CivianMod

by Netherwart

CivianMod is a Fabric utility mod for CivMC players, bundling macros, toggles and display options that the CivMC community uses day to day.

FabricClient-side onlyGNU General Public License v3.0 onlyOpen source1.21.4 – 1.21.11

What it does

Five client-side helpers for the CivMC server are gathered in CivianMod, including an ice-road macro on Backspace by default, an auto-attack macro on key 0, hold-key macros on the left and right mouse buttons, and a macro that holds forward on W. A better toggle-sneak option can be set to deactivate itself when the player presses Shift manually, enters water, starts swimming, sprints or uses an elytra. Compacted item stacks show a configurably coloured count, and crates can be coloured independently.

CivianMod branches from CivModern and was built with the CivMC server in mind. Despite the fork, it is written to work alongside CivModern, so both can be installed and used at the same time. The mod is client-side only, so it runs on Fabric in single-player and multiplayer clients alone, and servers need nothing. The code is under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, and the source code and issue tracker are public. Files are published for Fabric only, for 1.21.4, 1.21.8 and 1.21.11, with 2.2.0 for 1.21.11 as the latest file.

Key features

  1. Compacted item counts

Stacks of compacted items display their count in a colour the player picks in the config.

  2. Macro bindings

Ice-road, auto-attack and hold-key macros come with default bindings that can be changed in the controls menu.

  3. Toggle-sneak options

Toggle-sneak can switch off automatically on Shift, water entry, swimming, sprinting or elytra use.

  4. Crate colouring

Crates have their own colour setting, separate from the compacted item count colour.

How it compares
