by Shredemption

CityParts, a NeoForge decoration mod for 1.21.1, adds building blocks for constructing city streets, sidewalks and urban scenes.

NeoForgeClient and serverMIT LicenseOpen source1.21.1

What it does

Its blocks are themed around city construction, so a builder can lay out a street from pavement blocks, colored bricks, asphalt with road markings, lamp posts and traffic signs. Colored wood variants add more palette options for storefronts and interiors.

CityParts runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it. Files are published for NeoForge only, on 1.21.1, and the license is the MIT License, which makes the code open source. Source code and an issue tracker are publicly linked.

Key features

  1. Selection building blocks

Blocks are grouped around city construction, so a set of streets and sidewalks can be built from one family.

  2. Pavement and colored bricks

Pavement blocks and colored bricks cover sidewalks, plazas and building facades with several tones.

  3. Asphalt with road prints

Asphalt blocks carry printed lane and crossing markings, which saves placing paint details by hand.

  4. Lamp posts and traffic signs

Lamp post lights and traffic signs add street furniture to a scene, and random road furniture varies the placement.

Use cases

Building a city block

A builder can place pavement, asphalt, lamp posts and signs to create a complete street section in a survival or creative world.

Multiplayer city projects

On a server, the group builds a shared town with consistent blocks, since every player runs the same set.

Who it’s for: Builders who construct towns, streets and urban scenes in Minecraft on NeoForge 1.21.1 will find the blocks most useful. Server owners running a shared build world can add the mod for a common palette.
