Cinematic Weather

Cinematic Weather changes how wind, falling leaves and storms look and feel on the client, so the sky and the trees react to the weather around the player.
What it does
Leaves drift, spin and sway with the wind currents, and four pixel-art leaf shapes are used. Floating leaves vanish when they touch the ground or a tree instead of getting stuck spinning in place. Leaf colors follow the biome, from dark pine needles in taiga to dry golden-orange in savanna and mud-green in swamps.
Heavy storms push dropped items, shake the screen gently and throw debris and blocks through the air, and sandstorms can appear in deserts. Walking near leaves in the wind plays spatial rustling sounds, and standing under a roof muffles the weather sounds and blocks the wind particles. Particles spawned behind the player are skipped to save frames and memory. The mod is published for Fabric only and needs Mod Menu, and it runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. The license is All rights reserved, so the mod is not open source.
