Chicken Coop adds a coop block that farms eggs from chickens and cuts down entities when needed, for players who keep chickens in their bases.
What it does
The coop block lets a player keep chickens in one place and collect eggs without tending each bird by hand. Chickens placed inside the coop are handled automatically. The mod is published for Fabric and Forge across 1.20.1 – 1.20.4 and requires Architectury API on either loader. It runs on client and server, and the code is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, so it is open source with public source code and an issue tracker.
Key features
Egg farming block
A coop block that gathers eggs from the chickens it holds, so a player can keep a small flock running.
Entity cutting
The coop can cut down entities placed inside it, which clears chickens out of the coop when they are no longer wanted.
Safe chicken removal
Breaking the coop with chickens inside releases them as items, and Silk Touch keeps them from bursting out.

A mod that adds a chicken coop to cut down on entities. Originally for a private server, but I've decided to clean it up and release it. Be careful not to break it when it has chickens inside without Silk Touch, as they will all burst out!
