ChestTracker

by RatataMakata

ChestTracker is a Fabric client mod that measures how many items a chest, barrel or other container gains over time, shown as items per hour.

FabricClient-side onlyMIT License1.21.1 – 1.21.11

What it does

A player looks at a chest or barrel and presses O to start tracking it. The tracker stores up to 30 storage blocks and takes periodic records of each one while it stays open, then works out a production rate from the item counts. Players open the tracker menu to read those rates for each tracked container, which suits automated farms that deliver items into storage.

The rate can be read over configurable periods of 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 30 minutes or 1 hour. Per-chest countdown timers remind a player when to check a container again, and the menu lets them change which items are tracked or remove a chest. Outlined containers mark what is being watched, and both halves of a double chest count as a single unit. ModMenu integration gives access to the tracker settings. The mod is released under the MIT License and is not open source.

Use cases

Monitoring automated farms

A player with an automated farm can see the hourly output of each storage block without counting items by hand.

Who it’s for: Players who run automated farms and want to compare output across several chests or barrels. The mod is client-side, so it suits single-player worlds and any multiplayer server the player joins without needing it installed there.
