CheapDarkPrismarine is a data pack that gives players two extra crafting recipes for dark prismarine, so the block is less scarce in a world.
What it does
The pack changes crafting only, through a datapack that works on Fabric, Forge and Quilt. Two crafting table recipes produce dark prismarine in bulk: one takes prismarine shards, an ink sac and a black dye, and the other takes prismarine shards and an ink sac alone. Each craft yields 8 dark prismarine blocks, so players no longer have to gather the material one piece at a time.
Because it is a datapack, the pack is also offered for server platforms and does not need a separate mod loader on the server side. Server owners who want more surplus material for large builds can add it, and players can choose whichever recipe suits their inventory. Files cover game versions 1.20.1, 1.20.2, 1.20.3 and 1.20.4, with 15+mod for 1.20.1 as the latest file on each loader, published on 2024-01-09. The pack is released under All rights reserved and is not open source.
