The Chalkboard mod lets players draw on blocks placed against a supporting surface, using the chalk from the Chalk mod on a canvas that can be scaled to several sizes.
What it does
A chalkboard is placed against a supporting block, and it breaks when that block is removed. Interacting with it using chalk from the Chalk mod opens a drawing canvas. Canvases are tileable and come in sizes up to 5x5, including 1x1, 1x5 and 4x2, so a wall can be covered with a set of boards of different shapes.
The mod requires Chalk, which provides the chalk and its drawing system. Chalkboard is a Decoration add-on and is categorized with Equipment and Utility. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. Files are published for NeoForge 1.21.1 only, with version 1.0.0 as the latest file, released on 2026-08-26 under the MIT License, and the source code is open source and public.
