Chalie's True Weaponry adds about a hundred vanilla-style weapons and tools in several new sets, each with its own playstyle and progression tier.

What it does

Chalie's True Weaponry is a server-side content mod that adds roughly 100 weapons and tools that look and behave close to vanilla equipment. The sets are arranged along a progression line, so each material tier has its own attack and durability trade-offs. Players pick a set according to the playstyle they want rather than only by tier.

Its requirement is the True Weaponry Resourcepack, which supplies the textures for the new items. Server owners install the mod on the server, and players may add it on the client for the new models, but a client without it still connects. The mod is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and as a data pack, for 1.21 – 1.21.3, with the latest files built for 1.21.1 and released on 2025-04-25.

The project is licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 or later and is not open source. The first release came out on 2025-01-30, and the latest update on 2025-04-25.

The Copper Tool Set adds an oxidation mechanic, when in hand/offhand for a looong time, the copper tools will start to oxidize, increasing their stats and repairing instantly. The Amethyst Tool Set adds a quick and reliable alternative to gold/stone tools, with increased attack speed, but veeery low durability.
