Cartographer's Gift

When a player first walks into a village, Cartographer's Gift hands them a finished map that is already named and already sits in the inventory.
What it does
Cartographer's Gift gives a map of each village a player finds for the first time, with the layout already filled in and a name assigned. The map arrives automatically in the inventory, so a player does not need to carry an empty map or craft one beforehand. Villages receive their names from a pool of about a thousand hand-picked names, and the biome of each village, such as desert or snowy, is reflected in the layout the map shows.
The mod is suited to survival worlds and multiplayer servers where players explore together. The first player to find a village is credited on the map, and later finders see that credit. Fabric API is required, and the mod is published for Fabric only, for the 26.1 – 26.2 range, with 26.2 as the latest target.
Only the server needs the mod installed, so players join without installing anything. The mod is server-side only and is released under the MIT License, which is not an open-source license.
