Carpet Fixes (unofficial port)
by skrizzzz
Carpet Fixes is an unofficial 1.21.11 port of a Fabric Carpet extension that corrects a set of vanilla Minecraft bugs affecting redstone, mobs and world behavior.
What it does
The mod targets Fabric Carpet and fixes vanilla behavior in areas such as redstone update order, item duplication, mob and entity behavior, pistons, observers, rails and explosions, including a corrected TNT exposure calculation. It also keeps spawn chunks loaded, restores saved brewing time, and handles bugs such as creeper portal fuse timing, blue wither skulls and bubble column unloading. The fix list is described as 246 fixes in total, and some of them can be turned on or off with a rule toggle.
Carpet Fixes requires Carpet, and a newer Carpet build than the one it was tested against is needed, along with Fabric API. The mod runs on both client and server, so both sides need it. It is distributed for Fabric only, with a single build for 1.21.11, and works in singleplayer and multiplayer. The port is based on the 1.21 fork by tomalbrc and was tested in-game to confirm it loads without mixin errors. Its source is under the MIT License, copyright 2020 Fx Morin.

How it compares
Carpet-YBS-Addition runs on Fabric for 1.21 – 1.21.1 with a client and server environment, under the MIT License. Carpet PVP is server-side only, covers 1.21 – 1.21.5 on Fabric, and is also MIT licensed. Carpet Roxy Addition is server-side only, built for 1.21.11 on Fabric, and open source under the MIT License, so it is the closest match in version. Carpet Fixes is open source under the MIT License as well and needs both sides to run.
