Candle Backport
Candle Backport brings candles to Minecraft 1.16 on Fabric, so players can place them in their 1.16 worlds.
What it does
Candles can be stacked up to four in one block space, dyed any color, and lit or extinguished. The mod keeps the candle functionality of the newer version as a one-to-one port, changing only what is needed to work on 1.16. Candle Backport is client and server, so both the server and every player need it. Files cover 1.16 – 1.16.5, with 1.0 for 1.16.5 as the latest, under the MIT License, and the project is not open source.
Key features
Stackable candles
Up to four candles can be placed in one block space, forming a single light source.
Dyeable candles
Candles take any dye color, so they can be matched to a room's decoration.

Candles can be lit and extinguished, keeping the behavior of the newer version.
Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.
Only full game releases are shown. This mod publishes no snapshot builds.

The functionality is 1:1: you can stack up to four candles in one space, dye them whatever color you please, light them, extinguish them, put them on cakes, and everything…
