What it does

The mod's main purpose is to add a wide selection of blocks for building. Its content covers colored lanterns with a new 3D model, walls such as poppy, dandelion and wither rose walls, and pillar and window pieces that can be used together for architecture like a Greek temple. Pedestals for heads, wooden beams for support and wood-encased windows are included as well.

Among the additions are white marble and black marble, each with a smooth version, and a black quartz item that can be crafted into black marble. Mossy rock generates naturally on plains and snowy plains, adding new natural building material to the world. The author states the mod is updated regularly, with more blocks planned and bugs corrected over time.

Building Nexus runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. Files are published for Forge and NeoForge, covering 1.20.1 and 1.21, and the code is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution Share Alike 4.0 license, so the mod is not open source.
