Border Limit Xaero's

by nertin

Border Limit Xaero's is a client-side Fabric addon that lets players draw, name and color local zones directly on the Xaero's World Map and Minimap.

FabricClient-side onlyApache License 2.01.19.2 – 26.1.2

What it does

Zones are drawn on the Xaero's World Map, either as custom selections or chunk by chunk, with several drawing modes available. Each zone can be renamed, given a fill color and border color, and edited later by adding or removing chunks. Zones can also be shown on the Xaero's Minimap, so the marked areas stay visible while moving around.

The mod is meant for keeping a map readable while playing survival, SMP, civilization, faction or towny-style worlds, and for large building projects. Bases, claims, farms, roads, dangerous areas and any other region a player wants to mark can be kept in one organized layer. It requires Xaero's Minimap and Xaero's World Map, which are the maps it draws on.

Border Limit Xaero's is published for Fabric across 23 release versions, 1.19.2 – 26.1.2, and is released under the Apache License 2.0. Other players and servers do not need to install it, since the zones only exist on the local client.

Key features

  1. Custom zone selections

Players select areas on the World Map and turn them into named zones, drawn directly over the map.

  2. Chunk mode

A chunk mode lets players mark or remove individual chunks inside an existing zone.

  3. Zones on the minimap

Saved zones can be displayed on the Xaero's Minimap, keeping marked areas visible during play.

  4. Fill and border colors

Each zone's fill color and border color can be changed to tell regions apart at a glance.
