Bonded
by iamkaf
Bonded gives tools, weapons and armor a level that rises with use, with upgrades and repairs handled at dedicated benches.
What it does
Items that are used gain bonus stats over time, so a sword or pickaxe becomes stronger the more it is worked. The item must reach level 10 before its upgrade can be applied at the Tool Bench, which moves it to the next tier. The Repair Bench restores durability by consuming one repair material per repair. Both the level requirement and the upgrade materials can be set in the config.
Bonded requires Amber and Konfig on Fabric, Forge and NeoForge. Upgrade paths for particular weapon and tool families come from separate compat add-ons, and the catalog lists several of them that target this mod. The mod is open source under the MIT License and runs on client and server, with files for 1.21 – 26.3.
