Band of Gigantism

The bands are curios, worn in a curio slot, and each one scales the wearer up or down. Their item descriptions follow the style of Enigmatic Legacy, and the text changes with the mod's config. Most of the seven marks stick to the player after death while one is worn and can change the chat color. Curios handicap the player heavily but grant some minor buffs in return, and a config option can hide the food display in the F3 menu so the handicap does not apply in that way.

Nine of the items are size-changing curios and are fully configurable. Almost every item can be found in dungeon chests across the Overworld, Nether and End, and a few rarer ones appear only in certain places. Survival players can obtain the items without creative mode. Settings are read on the server, so they are kept in the world's serverconfig folder instead of the main config folder. Changing the config never needs a restart. Band of Gigantism is open source under the MIT License and is published for 1.16.5 – 1.19.2, with the latest Forge file for 1.19.2 dated 2024-07-05. The server and every player need the mod installed.
