Bob's Mekanisms

by BoBkiNN

Bob's Mekanisms brings lamps, cables, pipes and casings from the Mekanism setting into 1.19.2 Forge worlds, with a small set of utilities that follow the same style.

What it does

Electric Lamps glow only while they receive FE energy, and Emergency Lamps light up with a light level of 8 when powered and at full brightness otherwise. Power switches connect to universal cables, and valve pipes and overhead wires add routing options to a machine base.

Facades, casings and crossings let cables and pipes sit inside a build without breaking its look. The mod is a Forge-only addition for 1.19.2 that runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. It is released under the MIT License and is open source, with the source code and issue tracker public.

Key features

  1. Energy-powered lamps

Electric Lamps light only while they hold FE energy, so a lit lamp shows that a power line is connected.

  2. Emergency lamps

Emergency Lamps turn on at light level 8 when energy is present and shine at full brightness when it is not.

  3. Power switches and valves

Power switches work with universal cables, and valve pipes regulate flow between connected pipe runs.

  4. Facades, casings and crossings

Cables and pipes can be hidden behind facades or joined through casings and crossings for tidier layouts.
