Blue's Sword-Bedwars

A thrown sword that flies back to the hotbar is the core mechanic of Blue's Sword-Bedwars, which imitates the sword techniques Blue uses in Alan Becker's Bed Wars stickman animation.
What it does
Holding the sword and right-clicking throws it forward. After the sword hits an enemy it flies back to the hotbar automatically, and if the hotbar is full it goes to the inventory instead. Striking the ground makes the sword stick into the top block, while obsidian, bedrock and reinforced deepslate refuse the sword, which drops as an item. A sword thrown at a solid block within two blocks returns directly without sticking.
The mod is aimed at survival combat and Bed Wars style play, and it is meant to be used on both single-player and multiplayer servers. Pressing P opens a pose editor, where the angle and position of a stuck sword can be adjusted freely. The mod is published for Fabric only, across 10 release versions, 1.21.1 – 1.21.11. Installation needs Fabric API, and the code is released under the MIT License, not as open source.
