BlossomTpa adds the /tpa command, letting a player ask another player to teleport to them or ask to be teleported to them on a Fabric or Quilt server.

What it does

Teleport requests are governed by three settings in the mod's config: a timeout that sets how long a tpa or tpahere request stays active, a stand-still period that the player must keep still through before the teleport happens, and a cooldown that blocks another teleport for a set time after one has been used. Each value is given in seconds.

Permissions decide how requests are handled for each player. A player holding blossom.tpa.disallowed cannot receive requests, and the sender gets a warning while the receiver sees nothing. The always-accept permissions answer incoming tpa or tpahere requests automatically, and the force-accept permissions make outgoing requests go through without a reply, with the stand-still period still applied, similar to vanilla /tp. Neither player sees a message when a request is auto-accepted.

The mod is server-side only and is released under the MIT License, so it is open source. It needs BlossomLib to run, and the files cover game versions 1.18.2 – 26.3 for Fabric and Quilt. The config and translation keys are read from the mod's own resource files, and the project includes Chinese Simplified and Traditional translations.

Key features

  1. Tpa and tpahere requests

    A player can send a request to teleport to another player, or ask another player to teleport to them, and the other player answers with accept or deny.

  2. Request timeout

    Each request expires after a configurable number of seconds if the receiver does not answer.

  3. Stand-still period

    The teleport only happens after the player has stood still for a configurable number of seconds.

  4. Teleport cooldown

    A configurable cooldown in seconds applies after a teleport before the same player can teleport again.

  5. Permission-based handling

    Permission nodes can block incoming requests, auto-accept them, or force outgoing requests to be accepted.
