Blockin' - Place that Block! gives players a block placement effect with a sound and particles at the exact spot where each block is set down.
What it does
When a player places one of the listed blocks, the placement triggers a sound and particle effect at that block's exact position. The effect is meant as a small detail that adds atmosphere to ordinary building. The listed blocks include amethyst, cherry leaves, chiseled tuff, chiseled tuff bricks, copper, diamond and emerald blocks, and the author notes say the list tracks the newest version.
The server must run the mod, while players may add it to their clients, so only the server side is required. It works in single-player, multiplayer, on plugin loaders and on Realms, and it is also available as a data pack. Builds exist for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt across 11 release versions, 1.21.4 – 26.1.2, and the code is released under All rights reserved, so the mod is not open source.
