Blast Back
by o-Peepo
Blast Back changes what a Creeper or Ghast explosion does to the blocks it destroys, so they can drop as items instead of vanishing.
What it does
When a Creeper or Ghast explosion breaks blocks, Blast Back makes the destroyed blocks drop their items. The effect is applied through a data pack setting, so it can be switched on and off without changing the rest of the game. Server owners install it on the server, and players connecting to that server do not need anything extra. Builds cover 1.19.3 – 26.3 for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, plus a data pack version, and the code is released under All rights reserved.
Key features
Explosion drops
Blocks destroyed by Creeper and Ghast explosions drop their items instead of disappearing.
Data pack setting
The behavior comes from the mobExplosionDropDecay gamerule, which the data pack sets to false.
Multiple loaders
Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt builds are available, along with a zipped data pack for worlds.

What the author says
This mod/data pack simply changes the mobExplosionDropDecay gamerule to false to make creeper explosions drop all the destroyed blocks, so you can fill it back in. put the zipped file in the data packs folder, and either restart your world or execute /reload
