Bkups is a backup utility for worlds on Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, with a graphical interface for making and restoring saves.
What it does
Backups are made from a graphical manager, and each one is a compressed .zip copy of the world data, so a lost or damaged save can be restored. Four backup types are offered, and the manual type writes only to its own folder inside .minecraft\bkups\manual. Backups are stored locally on the computer that runs the game, so nothing is uploaded online.
The mod is configured through a settings menu, and a built-in help screen runs through the interface. Server owners can protect a world with several safeguards, and the mod lets two or more connected players share a server that has Bkups installed, with player and admin roles separating who may act. The Whopper System lets a player switch between worlds in-game, and the V3 builds add a detailed settings screen. Bkups requires Fabric API on Fabric. Only the server has to run it, and players may install it or leave it out.
