BioTrace Smart ID
by Mija
With BioTrace Smart ID installed, each player receives a citizen ID card with a biometric implant theme, shown through a HUD overlay.
What it does
A player gets a unique citizen ID in the form CIV-XXXXXXXX on the first join, and the ID stays the same after death. The SHOW ID button in the inventory opens a tactical card that lists health, armor and food status, and a 3D preview of the player sits on the card. An ECG barcode effect appears on the card, and the card layout opens on the left side of the inventory with a JEI-friendly arrangement.
Players can share their ID with nearby players, with a default range of 6 blocks that the server can change. A leaderboard overlay, opened from a SCORES button, ranks players by kills, bounty kills, deaths, level and score across time. The mod is cyberpunk-inspired and fits sci-fi survival play. Forge is the only loader, and the mod runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. Files are published for 1.20.1 – 1.20.6, and All rights reserved applies to the code, so the mod is not open source.
