Betterite

by XDuskAshes

Betterite adds a new ore to Minecraft, along with the tools and armor that can be made from its ingots.

ForgeClient and serverMIT License1.19.2

What it does

The Betterite ore is mined, smelted into raw Betterite, and cooked into ingots. A smithing table then upgrades Netherite tools and armor using Betterite ingots. The mod is built for Forge on Minecraft 1.19.2, and it is released under the MIT License, though it is not open source. Since both the server and each player need it, every participant installs the same build.

Key features

  1. New Betterite ore

A new ore generates in the world, and mining it yields raw Betterite that can be cooked.

  2. Betterite ingots

Cooked Betterite produces ingots, which are used as a material in recipes.

  3. Smithing upgrades

A smithing table applies Betterite ingots to Netherite tools, giving them a new material tier.
