Better Hide Hotbar
Better Hide Hotbar is a Fabric utility that lets players hide the hotbar, the XP bar and the status bars from the screen during play.
What it does
Better Hide Hotbar removes the hotbar item slots, the experience bar and the status bars from the HUD, which suits cinematic screenshots and recorded videos. A hidden slot bar can be brought back with a short notification that appears at the centre of the screen for a few seconds, and damage on the hotbar can be unhidden through a setting that is disabled by default.
The mod is written with Mixin and is described by its author as lightweight and optimized, with a minimal effect on frame rate. Mod Menu is where the settings screen is reached, and that screen only functions if Cloth Config API is present. Installation requires Fabric Loader, Fabric API and Cloth Config API in the mods folder, and Mod Menu is optional.
Better Hide Hotbar is client-side only, so only the player's client needs it; servers run without it. Its files cover 1.21 – 1.21.11 across 12 release versions, and the latest Fabric file is 1.0.8 for 1.21.11. The code is open source under the MIT License.
