With Ad Astra: Better oil deposits installed, underground oil deposits generate in the world in a way similar to lava lakes, adding a new source of oil for the Ad Astra mod.
What it does
The mod adds underground oil deposits that generate in the world alongside the Ad Astra oil lakes. Oil lakes from Ad Astra can still generate on their own as placeholders, so the mod works without the deposits being used in a playable way. Forge is the only mod loader with files, for Minecraft 1.20.1, and the latest file is 1.2.0, dated 2024-12-01. Ad Astra is required; the server needs the mod, while clients may leave it out.

The author recommends pairing the mod with Ad Astra Oil Well Yeeter, and suggests disabling Ad Astra's own oil generation when doing so.
