Better Enchanted Books
by Bernasss12
Enchanted Books gains tooltip sorting, custom strip colors and optional glint removal, aimed at players who handle many enchantments at once.
What it does
Enchantments listed in a tooltip can be sorted by a manual order set in the config, or alphabetically. Each enchantment can also be given a custom color, which then fills the strip shown on Enchanted Books. The glint on enchanted books can be turned off, and an option adds a list of the items each enchantment can be applied to.
The mod is client-side only, so only the player installs it and a server runs without it. Mod Menu is not required but is the only way to change settings in game, and Cloth Config API is optional. Fabric Language Kotlin is required, and Mod Menu is listed as a required dependency. Files are published for Fabric only, across 21 release versions, 1.16.2 – 1.21.1, under the MIT License, and the source code and issue tracker are public.
The mod was first published on 2020-12-02 and last updated on 2024-10-06, when the latest Fabric file, 2.0.6-beta for 1.20.6, was released on the beta channel.

What the author says
This is a mod that adds a couple of quality of life features into the Vanilla+ experience in Minecraft. It is 100% client sided, so the server doesn't need to have the mod installed for it to work. I'll try to keep everything as customizable as possible.
