Better Crosshairs lets players customize the crosshair, choosing its color, its size in pixels and the sprite drawn for it.

What it does

Players can set the crosshair color with a hex code picker, and scale it with a choice of 1 to 64 pixels. The crosshair sprite can be loaded from a URL, a file, or a Minecraft identifier, so custom sprites can be used as well as the default one.

When a player hovers over a target, the target indicator is shaded, which makes it easier to tell what the crosshair is aimed at. Better Crosshairs is a client mod, so only the player's own client needs it and a server does not have to run it. It is built for Fabric, with files for 1.21.11 and later, and is released under All rights reserved, so the code is not open source. The latest Fabric file is 1.21.11-1.1 for 1.21.11, published on 2026-07-30.
