Better Bundle
by Nico4play
Better Bundle changes the vanilla bundle so that a single bundle can carry up to 27 stacks of mixed items, and it adds scrolling through its contents.
What it does
Players who carry many kinds of items can use a bundle as a compact storage container. Each bundle holds up to 27 stacks of mixed items, and items can be taken out one at a time. Empty bundles and crafting with a normal trapped chest are both supported, so the recipe matches what players already know from the game.
The mod is server required and client optional: the server must run it, while players may add it to their own game. On the client side it adds a scroll function that works in the vanilla game from version 1.21.2 onward. The Data Pack variant is published alongside the Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt files for 1.19.4 – 26.3, and the mod is not open source; it is released under All rights reserved.
Installing the mod means placing its jar in the mods folder for a loader, or adding the Data Pack file to a world's datapacks folder. Removing the Data Pack version requires running the bundle:uninstall function first, and the game then confirms in chat that the uninstallation is complete before the file is deleted.
Key features
Bundles with 27 stacks
A bundle carries up to 27 stacks of mixed items, which makes it a single storage point for varied inventories.
Mouse wheel scrolling
Scrolling with the mouse wheel moves through the stored items, so a single item can be taken out without emptying the bundle.
Empty and remove items
Items can be removed from a bundle individually, and an empty bundle goes back to its base state.
Vanilla crafting recipe
Both normal trapped chests and the crafting recipe are used, so the bundle is made the same way as in the base game.
