Bee Drops adds a loot drop from bees killed by players, which yields small flowers, with a looting enchantment raising the cap.

What it does

When a bee is killed, it can drop between 0 and 2 small flowers, chosen at random from the flowers in the game. Eyeblossom, Wither Rose and Torchflower are excluded, and the drops may be mixed. Each level of the looting enchantment on the weapon raises the upper limit of the drop by one. The mod is a data pack for server platforms, so it runs without any installation on the client. Files cover 1.21 – 1.21.11 across Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and the code is under the MIT License and open source.

Key features

  1. Random flower drops

    Killed bees drop between zero and two small flowers, picked at random from the eligible flowers in the game.

  2. Looting increases the cap

    Each level of looting on the weapon raises the maximum number of flowers a bee can drop by one.

  3. Data pack delivery

    The drop is added through a data pack, so the change works on any server platform that loads data packs.
