Beacon Commands

by pesegolsson

Beacon Commands lets players give themselves beacon effects through chat commands, without building a pyramid first.

FabricForgeNeoForgeQuiltServer required, client optionalMIT License1.19 – 26.3

What it does

Beacon Commands adds commands that apply beacon effects directly to a player, so the effect does not depend on pyramid size or distance from a beacon. The effects on offer are Haste, Regeneration, Resistance, Speed, Strength, Jump Boost and Conduit Power, the last of which makes underwater travel easier. A trigger command can give an effect with no expiry, so it never runs out, and a level-two form such as haste2 gives Haste II. Clear removes effects, including potions and bad omens, and the trigger also covers mining fatigue and milk, in text form.

The mod is server required and client optional: the server must run it, while players may leave it out. It is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and as a data pack for server platforms. Builds cover 1.19 – 26.3 with 26 release versions, and snapshots are also published. The latest files target 1.21.11, dated 2025-12-09. It is released under the MIT License and is not open source.

Key features

  1. Direct beacon effects

Players receive beacon effects through commands, without placing a beacon or building a pyramid.

  2. Infinite effect triggers

A trigger command applies an effect that does not run out, so it stays active until it is cleared.

  3. Level-two effect names

Adding a number after an effect name, such as haste2, selects the higher level of that effect.

  4. Clearing effects

A clear command removes active effects, including potions, poison and bad omen.

Use cases

Building far from a beacon

Players who travel outside beacon range can still keep effects active without moving a beacon with them.

Underwater travel

Conduit Power can be given on demand, which suits long underwater trips.

Who it’s for: Server owners who want to offer beacon effects without pyramids, and players who use commands on servers that run the mod.
