With Bamboo Sign Editor installed, players can change the text, style and double-sided faces of signs through a dedicated screen.
What it does
Bamboo Sign Editor lets players edit existing signs from a GUI that covers both text and style, and it supports double-sided signs, so each face can be changed separately. Players reach the editing screen with the default V key, and the key can be rebound in the settings. The GUI is available in Simplified Chinese and English.
Fabric API is required. Builds cover 1.19 – 26.3 on Fabric, NeoForge and Quilt. The mod runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it, and it is released under the Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial Share Alike 4.0 license, so the code is not open source.

Sign text editing
Text on signs can be changed in place with a GUI, without breaking and replacing the sign.
Double-sided signs
Both faces of a double-sided sign can be modified, with the active face chosen by a key press.
Settings and translation
The interface language and the editing key can be changed in the mod settings, in English or Simplified Chinese.
