BadMeteoroid lets a server owner stop meteoroids from destroying terrain, and an Applied Energistics 2 crafting option lets players craft materials that disable them.
What it does
Players who find meteoroid strikes damaging their builds can turn them off on a server. Crafting materials that disable meteoroids are added to the game, and items still drop from the strikes that remain. Applied Energistics 2 is required and is bundled inside the mod. BadMeteoroid is server-side only, so players join without installing it, and it is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across 3 release versions, 1.20.1 – 1.21.1, under All rights reserved.
Key features
Meteoroid shutoff
Crafted materials can switch off meteoroid strikes so they no longer damage the terrain.
Items still drop
Meteoroids that do strike continue to deliver their item drops even when terrain damage is disabled.
Applied Energistics 2 crafting
The materials are crafted through Applied Energistics 2, which the mod requires and bundles.
