BackInv
by UserLog
BackInv saves a copy of each player's inventory before death, and the copies can be loaded later with a command.
What it does
Each time a player dies, the mod writes a backup of that player's inventory so the items can be recovered afterwards. Restoring a copy is done with a server command, which makes the mod suited to server administrators who want a simple safety net for players. It runs on the server only, so players join without installing anything. Fabric API and Polymer are required, and LuckPerms is optional for managing who may use the commands. Files target Fabric for 1.20 – 1.21.3 under the MIT License, and the source code is public.
Key features
Pre-death inventory backups
A copy of the inventory is created before the player's items are lost, so nothing is gone for good.
Command-based restore
Saved copies are loaded with a server command, so an administrator can return items without editing world files.
Server-friendly design
Only the server runs the mod, and clients need nothing, which suits multiplayer servers with many players.

What the author says
A simple player backup mod for your server. I am a technical administrator of the server and encountered the problem that on Fabric 1.21, there is only Death Backup, which is not very server-friendly.
