Armed and Varied

New tool and armor tiers sit between the vanilla materials. Copper falls between stone and iron, though it enchants less readily than iron. Amethyst sits between iron and emerald, emerald between amethyst and diamond, and rose gold joins the gear list as a tier of its own, with rose gold blocks and a singular rose gold food block for decoration and crafting.

Early progression is smoothed out. Leather armor is easier to acquire, its recipe now asks for leather scraps, chainmail armor can be crafted, and iron nuggets speed up chainmail production. A rose gold apple tier slots between golden and enchanted golden apples, and a rose gold carrot is a stronger version of the golden carrot, giving more saturation and restoring more hunger. Both apples grant regeneration, absorption and fire resistance.

Installation needs no dependency beyond the chosen loader. Armed and Varied is published for Fabric and Forge, both for 1.20.1, and works on client and server, so the server and every player need it. The code is under the MIT License and is open source, with public source code and an issue tracker. The author lists a future port to a newer game version as a plan.
