Araxer's Bestiary
by AraXer
Araxer's Bestiary is an in-game compendium that records stats, spawn conditions and loot for the monsters a player has met, and it works on Fabric, Forge and NeoForge.
What it does
Entries fill in as players encounter or defeat mobs, so the guide shows only what the player has discovered. Its progression system can be turned off in the Forge config file for a full view. A spyglass can also reveal clues that lead to higher discovery ranks, and reaching new ranks opens more entries. Toast notifications report new discoveries as they happen.
Each entry lists health, attack damage, spawn conditions, structures and loot tables, with estimated actual drop chances when loot tracking is enabled. The Bestiary Book is crafted from a book, a spider eye, a bone and rotten flesh, and a search bar with filters helps find entries quickly. Modded mobs are supported, and additional entries can be added through a datapack. Dynamic Monster Discovery scans hostile entities automatically, and it is required to be installed alongside the mod.
Version 2.0.0 is a full overhaul with a new UI. The mod runs on Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, and the environment is client and server, so both the server and every player need it. Builds cover 1.16.5 – 26.1.2, and the code is covered by All rights reserved, so the mod is not open source.

How it compares
Wildex Bestiary is a Fabric and NeoForge mod for 1.21.1 – 26.1 with a Client and server environment, released under the Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial 4.0 license and not open source. Every Mob Drops covers Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt for 1.20 – 26.3, is server required with client optional, and is also All rights reserved. Araxer's Bestiary covers all three loaders but not Quilt, and it adds a progression system and a loot tracking mode.
