Waterproof torches made from glowing ink sacs, which Aquatic Torches adds, can be placed and used underwater just like coal-fired torches.
What it does
Aquatic Torches adds torches that work underwater, so a player can light an underwater base entrance or a dark stretch of ocean floor. Each torch is crafted from a glowing ink sac. The mod is published for Fabric and Forge across 13 release versions, 1.17 – 1.20.2, and it runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. The code is open source under the MIT License.

Each waterproof torch emits a slightly brighter light at level 15, which helps illuminate deep ocean areas.
