Apple Enchant

The ritual runs at an enchanting table. A player with at least 30 experience levels stands at the table, crouches, and holds Golden Apples in the inventory. The process consumes exactly 1395 experience points, the full amount needed to drop to level 0, and plays custom sound and particle effects while it runs. Cooking the result in a standard furnace returns the spent experience, and a campfire cooks the item without returning anything.

The enchanted apple grants Decaying Resistance at 100 percent and provides no healing. Reversing the process in a furnace disenchants the apple and leaves a depleted item called Shattered Golden Apple. The mod is meant to run next to Food Balance Mooshroom Energy for expanded food mechanics. Server owners install it on the server; players may add it for the custom effects, and a data pack option is available for modpacks.

Files are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt. Builds cover 1.20.5 – 26.2 across 18 release versions, with 1.1+mod for 26.2 as the latest file, dated 2025-04-15. The mod is released under All rights reserved and is not open source, though its source code and issue tracker are public.
