ApiumRadio
by EzByMesa_
With ApiumRadio, players can stream internet radio stations over MP3 directly in-game through speakers placed across a base.
What it does
ApiumRadio is a Forge technology mod that plays internet radio stations from MP3 streams inside the game. Its decoder and audio engine handle the stream, and the sound is positioned in 3D space, so volume fades with distance, walls muffle it, and a listener hears the sound pan as they walk around a radio. Multiple speakers can be linked into a network that mixes their sources, and a speaker's range can be extended to other rooms or outdoors.
The mod requires external codec libraries on the client side, and it is published for Forge only, for the game versions 1.20.1 – 1.20.6. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. The code is not open source; the mod is released under All rights reserved. Settings such as the speaker limit per radio and the default station for new radios are kept in apiumradio-common.toml.
