What it does

AnvilCore is a core library for mods by SmartStreamLabs. Its shared backend systems, utilities and internal APIs are used by several of that author's projects, so the code sits in one library instead of being copied into each mod. The mod adds no gameplay content of its own; it exists to be installed alongside the mods that require it.

Installing any SmartStreamLabs mod that requires AnvilCore means installing AnvilCore too, because the required mods do not run without it. Files are published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across 19 release versions, 1.17.1 – 26.1.2. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. The mod is released under All rights reserved and is not open source. The project is discontinued, and its last update was on 2026-04-11.
