Absolutely Not A Zoom Mod is a Fabric client mod that adds a single zoom key bound to C by default.

What it does

Players hold or press C to zoom the view, using one mixin with almost no settings. The author made it because existing zoom mods for the 22w13oneBlockAtATime snapshot required Fabric API, and this one does not need it. Item blocks in some renders appeared white, so the author wrote their own zoom logic. The mod is client-side only, so servers need nothing installed. It is published for Fabric across 19 release versions, 1.14 – 1.18.2, and is open source under the MIT License.

    Pressing C zooms the view by default, and the key can be rebound through the normal controls menu.

    The zoom is built on one mixin, which keeps the code small and the footprint on the game low.

    Only the player's client runs the mod, so joining a server does not require it on the server side.
