All HUD Bars

by Lanfix8

All HUD Bars, a Fabric client mod, replaces a row of separate status icons with single bars for health, armor, food and other values.

FabricClient-side onlyAll rights reserved1.20.1 – 1.21.11

What it does

Instead of drawing many small icons along the bottom of the screen, All HUD Bars shows health, armor, hunger and other values as bars. Each bar reads at a glance, and the display can be adjusted to match the player's preferred layout.

Bar colors change for status effects. Health can appear in the colors used for wither, poison and freezing, so a player sees the active condition without opening the inventory. The mod also handles a custom maximum health and absorption values, along with vehicle health.

The mod is built for Fabric and runs on the 1.21 line. Its files cover 1.20.1, 1.21 – 1.21.11, with 1.0.2+1.21.11 for 1.21.11 as the latest build. It is released under All rights reserved and is not open source, though its source code and issue tracker are public.

Key features

  1. Bars instead of icons

Health, armor, food and other values are drawn as bars, so the HUD takes less space than a row of icons.

  2. Status effect colors

The health bar changes color for wither, poison and freezing, making active effects visible at a glance.

  3. Custom maximum health

Bars follow a raised or lowered maximum health and show absorption values beyond the base amount.

  4. Vehicle health bar

A bar for the health of the vehicle the player is riding appears on the HUD while mounted.

Use cases

Modded survival with many stats

Players running many status effects or extra attributes can read them in one compact layout.

Modpacks on newer versions

Builds for the 1.21 line let modpack authors keep a bar-based HUD across several game updates.

Who it’s for: Players who prefer bar gauges to icon rows, and modpack builders who want a consistent health and armor display across the 1.20.1 – 1.21.11 range.
