SIRIUS Ui
by AlanHT520
SIRIUS Ui is a UI enhancement mod in which game interfaces are defined by JSON files built from a widget component system, with no Java code needed.
What it does
Interfaces are described in JSON files, which set the layout and components of a screen. Because the screens are data rather than code, they can be changed by editing the files. The mod runs on the client alone, so players install it and servers do not need it. Builds exist for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across 12 release versions, 1.20.1 – 26.1.2, under a custom license that is not open source.
Key features
JSON-defined screens
Game interfaces are written as JSON files rather than compiled Java, so screen layouts can be changed by editing data.
Widget component system
Screens are assembled from reusable widget components that the JSON files reference and arrange.
Client-side interface changes
Changes to menus and interface elements apply on the player's side and do not alter the server.
