AICraftingTable
AICraftingTable replaces fixed recipes on a crafting table with AI generation, so a grid arrangement can produce a new item that did not exist before.
What it does
Placing ingredients in the crafting grid triggers the AI, which generates a unique result item based on the materials and their arrangement. Each generated item receives a new name, texture and function, and the same grid can be tried again with a changed layout to reach a different outcome.
Generated results are stored, so earlier creations stay visible and can be crafted again without a new generation. The mod is built for Forge on 1.19.2 and 1.20.1, with the latest file, 1.2.0, targeting 1.20.1. It is client and server, so both the server and every player need it, and the code is open source under the MIT License.
Key features
AI-generated results
A combination of placed ingredients is sent to an AI that returns a new item instead of a fixed recipe output.
Layout matters
Changing the position of ingredients in the grid can produce a different result, so patterns are worth testing.
Saved results
Items already crafted are kept in a list the player can view and reuse.
Removal command
The aicraft removeItem command with an item id deletes a generated item.
