Ai Helper lets players chat with AI models from inside the game, so questions can be asked without leaving the world or switching windows.
What it does
Typing a command in chat sends a message to an AI model and returns the answer in the same chat window. Players can ask for help with a task, look up an in-game question, or hold a conversation without alt-tabbing to a browser. The mod reads the game language and switches its interface and book content to match one of six supported tongues.
The mod works out of the box with the free Groq provider, so no account or key is needed to begin. Players who want other models can set an API key once for premium providers such as Google's language model or Anthropic's assistant, which offer advanced reasoning. Ai Helper is built for Fabric and has a single file for game version 1.21.8, released 2025-08-12 under the MIT License. It is not open source, and it requires the client, with the server optional.
