AskGemini lets a player send questions to Google's Gemini AI from the in-game chat, without leaving the game world.
What it does
Typing the word gemini in the chat, followed by a prompt, sends the question to Google's Gemini AI. The reply appears in the local chat and is visible only to the player who asked, so answers about crafting recipes or building tips stay private. The mod is built to stay light and unobtrusive while it runs.
AskGemini is a client-side Fabric mod, so only the player needs it; a server does not have to install anything. It requires Fabric API and is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, and the code is open source. Setup needs a Google Gemini API key, created in Google AI Studio, and the key is entered once with a command in the game.
