AE2 Additional Opportunity

With AE2 Additional Opportunity, Applied Energistics 2 storage networks lose several of their built-in limits on controllers, channels and cells.
What it does
The mod changes how Applied Energistics 2 controllers behave. Controllers can be connected to one another with cable, several controllers can sit on the same network, and the maximum size of a multiblock controller can be raised or lowered in the configuration file ae2ao.toml. The default limit on the number of controllers per network is removed when the matching option is set to false.
Channel restrictions can be disabled, so a network no longer runs out of channels at the point where the standard rules would stop it. Storage cells can also be made invulnerable to destruction by fire and lava, which keeps them intact in dangerous areas of a base. Each of these options is a separate switch in the same config file, so a server owner can enable only the parts that suit the world.
Applied Energistics 2 is a required dependency and must be installed on the same loader. Files are published for Fabric and Forge, and the code is open source under the MIT License. The mod runs on the client and the server, so both sides need it.

Controllers can be linked to one another with cable, which lets a large network be assembled from several controller blocks.
Unlimited controllers
The number of controllers allowed on one network can be set without a fixed cap, so bases with many controllers stay within a single network.
Adjustable multiblock size
The maximum X, Y and Z dimensions of a controller multiblock are set in the config file, so the structure can grow or shrink.
Channel restriction removal
Channel limits can be turned off, letting networks use their channels without the standard restriction.
Invulnerable storage cells
An option makes storage cells immune to fire and lava, protecting stored items in risky locations.
