Advanced Player Crosshair

by imreppofficial

Advanced Player Crosshair changes the crosshair color when the player aims at other players, depending on their held items and blocking state.

FabricClient-side onlyMIT License1.21.11 – 26.3

What it does

The crosshair turns green when aimed at a player, and a player holding a mace in the inventory triggers a different color. A player actively blocking with a shield turns the crosshair red, and a mace in the inventory combined with a shield block turns it dark red. A standard crosshair is kept for other targets. The mod is a lightweight Fabric mod for client-side use only, so servers do not need it.

Versions cover 1.21.11 – 26.3, and the latest Fabric file, 1.3, targets 26.3. It is released under the MIT License but is not open source.

Key features

  1. Player range crosshair

The crosshair turns green while the player aims at another player, signaling a target in range.

  2. Mace and shield colors

Holding a mace changes the aim color, and blocking with a shield turns the crosshair red, with dark red for both.

  3. Standard crosshair

Aiming at blocks and other non-player targets keeps the default crosshair appearance.
