Mobility Modifications
Mobility Modifications lets players run farther, jump higher and dash, and its movement actions cost hunger bars.
What it does
Players gain extra movement such as running and jumping, plus dashing, wall jumping, climbing and crawling. Each of these actions uses up hunger, so the speed and height depend on how many hunger bars are available, and the mechanics cannot be used once hunger is gone. A Jump Boost effect raises the height reached by a wall jump, and launching through the air is part of the set.
The mod needs Fabric API and is published for Fabric only. Both the server and every player need it, because the environment is client and server. Builds cover 1.21 – 1.21.11 across 12 release versions, and the latest file is 1.0.0 for 1.21.11, released 2025-12-13. The code is not open source; it is released under All rights reserved.
Key features
Dashing and running
Dashing and faster running let a player cover ground quickly, with the speed scaled by remaining hunger.
Wall jumping and climbing
Walls can be jumped over and climbed, and crawling adds another way through low spaces.
Hunger-based cost
Every movement action consumes hunger bars, so frequent wall jumps and dashes drain food faster.
Fall damage reduction
Certain movement actions can prevent fall damage, adding a safer way to descend from heights.

Use cases
Exploring tall terrain
Wall jumping and climbing give players a route up cliffs and tall structures without placing blocks.
Fast travel on foot
Dashing and running cover long distances on foot, with the hunger cost limiting how often it can be used.
Who it’s for: Players who want more movement options in a survival world and are willing to manage hunger, along with server owners who want a movement system tied to food.
How it compares
Advanced Mobility Mechanics is a Fabric mod for 1.21.4 – 1.21.8 that works on a server alone, and a client can join without it; it is not open source and is under All rights reserved. Movementum - Better Movement is an open source Fabric mod under the MIT License, released for 1.21.11, and both the server and every player run it. EasyStep is also open source under the MIT License for 1.21.11, and it likewise needs to be on both sides.
