by TCLProject

Achievement Detection Fix changes how vanilla achievements are detected, making the detection process more dependable for Minecraft 1.7.10 on Forge.

ForgeClient and serverMIT License1.7.10

What it does

The mod targets the process that checks whether a player has earned a vanilla achievement. Its aim is to make that check more dependable, and it covers the crafting and smelting achievements that the base game provides, as well as achievements added by other mods. The mod runs on client and server, so both sides need it. Files are published for Forge only, for 1.7.10, and the latest file is 1.0.0, dated 2023-11-12. The code is under the MIT License, but the project is not open source.

Key features

  1. More dependable detection

Improves the vanilla routine that determines when an achievement has been reached, so the check is more reliable.

  2. Crafting and smelting coverage

Covers the vanilla crafting and smelting achievements, which the detection routine is meant to handle correctly.

  3. Mod-added achievements

Also targets achievements added by other mods, which are usually detected correctly already.
